Job Title: Heavy Vehicle Driver Trainer

Duties

• Verify competencies for drivers with MC, HC, and HR licenses
• Induct all subcontractors
• Verify heavy vehicle licenses and experience of employees and contractors
• Provide direction and support to supervisors and managers for continuous improvement
• Develop training needs analysis to cover all aspects of driver competency
• Assist in workplace assessments and audits
• Participate in incident investigations as a subject matter expert (SME for Load Restraint, CoR, Mass Management, Fatigue, etc.)
• Ensure compliance with all relevant workplace health & safety requirements and road transport laws

Skills & Experience

• Current Licenses - MC & LF
• Cert IV in Training and Assessment or willing to obtain with Centurion
• High levels of written and verbal communication
• A passion for training and mentoring
• Willing to travel to our depots along the East Coast
