Job Title: MC Driver - Hi-Explosives

Job Overview:

We are seeking motivated and Dangerous Good MC Driver. We are looking for someone who is wanting to spend nights away in the truck. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating a multi-combination vehicle, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods while adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate multi-combination (MC) vehicles.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
• Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs and vehicle maintenance reports.
• Adhere to all road safety and company regulations, including compliance with weight limits and traffic laws.
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients and addressing any concerns or issues.
• Assist with loading and unloading of cargo as required.
• Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs promptly.

Qualifications:

• Valid MC Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Dangerous Goods Licence is required.
• SSAN is required, or the ability to obtain one. 
• Previous DG experience is highly regarded.
• Road Ranger experience is highly regarded, particularly K200's. 
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and logistics best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Physically fit and able to handle the demands of loading and unloading cargo.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing high-quality service.
